Effectively the principle of thirds has been accomplished, beautiful subject matter. The photo carries emotion, the photo captures life making it feel alive. The use of Black and White was very appropriate for this piece. The crop of the photo keeps the viewers eyes appeased. Very interesting way to incorporate texture to a portrait, makes the image seem cold, but the subjects eyes bring life and warmth back into the photo. Great focal points and lines through out the photo. Models makeup was done very well and looks very attractive. Id definitely host this image in a gallery, on a web site, or hang it on a wall in my home. well done.
